Chronic urticaria is a disturbing skin condition that can cause life-altering problems beyond the physical symptoms. Our goal here was to encourage diagnosed patients to take part in a ground-breaking study of the wide-ranging and often overlooked ways in which the disease can affect their lives. The findings of the study promise to go towards helping doctors see beyond the physical, ultimately improving outcomes and quality of life. By focusing on their voices, we amplify what patients say about chronic urticaria so they can’t be ignored.
